Stone Sculpting Workshop

Title: Stone Sculpting Workshop with Agnes Nyanhongo 

Location: Chapungu Sculpture Park

Have fun while you learn to sculpt with world renowned sculptor Agnes Nyanhongo.  The workshops are set in Chapungu’s beautiful landscaped gardens with a small lake surrounded by natural woodland of indigenous trees. 

Chapungu Tours

Title: Tours of the Sculpture Park and Gallery

Location: Chapungu Sculpture Park Harare

Date: Every Saturday

Show Times: 10am - 12pm

Description: Description: Experience a personalised tour by our resident Stone Sculptors followed by refreshments, canapés, as well as a live performance of Mbira Music and Dance by Matsimba Epasi Chigare Mbira Group. This unique cultural experience offers a glimpse into the rich history and traditions of Zimbabwe, with the monumental stone sculptures set amongst 15 acres of lush, natural woodland of indigenous trees teaming with birdlife, resident monkeys and also features a beautiful lake - 10 minutes from the centre of Harare.

Chapungu Wellness Program

Title: Stone Sculpting Workshop with Nicholas Kadzungura

Location: Chapungu Sculpture Park Harare

Date:  Friday 1 September to Sunday 3 September 2023

Show Times: Friday and Saturday - 10am to 5pm. Sunday 10am - 1pm, followed by Graduation.

Charge: USD $220 for a 3 day class

Description: Join us and become part of the great tradition of Zimbabwean Stone Sculpting. By the end of the class, you will have created your own stone sculpture, and started your journey to producing your own original masterpiece.

Chapungu Wellness Program

Title: Acrylic Painting Class with Webster Mubayirenyi

Date: Every Saturday morning from 2 September to 23 September 2023

Charge: USD$100 for a 4 week class held on Saturdays

Description: Description: The ultimate Beginners Guide to starting Acrylic Painting. Learn how to start painting with step by step demonstrations, practical exercises, and insightful tips. By the end of the course, students will have gained enough knowledge and experience to feel excited about continuing to learn and develop their painting with confidence and ease.

Description: Personal Development and Self Healing through Art. This class teaches powerful, simple and approachable, Art Therapy techniques to enhance your wellbeing. It helps to create a better view upon our inner conflicts and emotional deadlocks, and to understand what has to be done to deal with them.
