I'm Costa, a portrait artist who works in various media, such as charcoal, acrylic, oil, digital, and photography. I use these different tools to capture the essence and personality of my subject. I am fascinated by the diversity and beauty of life, and I want to share my vision with the world.

My portraits are not just realistic representations, but also expressions of my interpretations of my subjects. I like to experiment with different styles, techniques, and colors, and I always challenge myself to create something new and original. My goal is to create portraits that are not only visually appealing, but also emotionally engaging and meaningful.

For me, art is both a refuge and a challenge. It’s soothing there’s something deeply calming about the act of creating but it’s also a space where I wrestle with technical puzzles, trying to translate a feeling or vision from the ether into something tangible. Each piece begins as a quiet idea, but the process of shaping it layer by layer requires focus, patience, and problem-solving. And when it finally comes together, I often find that the finished work speaks back to me in ways I didn’t expect. That reflection, that conversation with the work, has only deepened my relationship with art over time.
